Creative Bioarray provides cell line authentication services based on isozyme analysis, aiming to help biomedical companies engaged in the production of cell products and laboratories to analyze possible interspecies cell cross-contamination. Through our rapid isozyme analysis, researchers can obtain an assessment of cell contamination status, which is convenient for customers to adjust cell use and preservation strategies.
The role of cell line authentication in biomedical sciences has received considerable attention, especially in the past decade. This quality control attribute is now beginning to be valued by funding agencies and scientific journals. The earlier method used for cell line authentication is isozyme analysis, which is commonly used in the biopharmaceutical industry to confirm the origin of cell line species. All cell lines have lactate dehydrogenase, malate dehydrogenase, and glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase isoenzymes corresponding to their species, which can be distinguished from each other. Gradually, more and more isozyme are used as targets for analysis and detection. The distribution pattern of a group of enzymes is characteristic of a specific species, which at the same time confirms the identity of the species and reveals the pollution of another different species. Isozyme specimens are distinguished according to electrophoretic characteristics. This method is still suitable for contemporary molecular biology research. We provide isozyme analysis services for different animal cells. Biochemical analysis of isozyme polymorphism is still the most cost-effective molecular detection method.

The principle of our cell line certification isoenzyme analysis service is to use isoenzyme electrophoresis for analysis. Through continuous verification, we have established a mature protocol that aims to verify the identity of cell lines and detect cell line contamination by comparing the migration distances of at least 3 different isoenzymes. The service includes sample pre-processing, and customers can send samples directly to our laboratory. Please provide at least 106 cells for testing with validated isozyme analysis reagents. After isoelectric focusing of polyacrylamide or agarose gel of tachyzoite extract, our experts will give a result interpretation report and original electrophoresis diagram. The interpretation of the results includes the presence or absence of contamination and the contamination rate of interspecies contamination.
