Insulin-Transferrin-Sodium Selenite (ITS) Plus Medium Supplement contains 0.5 mg/mL human transferrin, 1.0 mg/mL recombinant human insulin, 0.67 μg/mL sodium selenite, 0.5 mg/ ml Linoleic Acid, and 100 mg/ ml BSA. Insulin can promote the uptake of amino acids and glucose. Transferrin can bound to iron to nourish cultured cells. Sodium Selenite is an essential trace element. Linoleic acid and BSA can enhance cell health in low serum conditions.
