Human DKK1, His tag

Product Code: GFC0035

Description

DKK1 is a member of the Dickkopf family and is a secreted protein that inhibits the canonical WNT pathway by competitive binding to low-density lipoprotein receptors (LRP)-5 and 6 with high affinity, thereby decreasing β-catenin protein stability (Niehrs). DKK1 plays a role in embryonic development and may be important in bone formation in adults. Elevated expression of this gene has been observed in numerous human cancers and this protein may promote proliferation, invasion and growth in cancer cell lines.
