Endothelial Cell Transfection Set

Endothelial cells are rather senstive in comparison to cell lines and therefore usually more difficult to transfect. It is therefore recommended to mantain good cell viability by using transfection agents with proven low cytotoxicity while retaining good transfection efficiency. Our PromoFectin-HUVEC has been specifically developed for a highly efficient nucleic acid delivery into different primary endothelial cells as well as cell lines – showing extremely low cytotoxic effects.
Heparin, included in most endothelial media formulations, commonly leads to a reduction of endothelial cell transfection efficiency. We therefore recommend using our heparin-free Endothelial Cell Growth Medium for optimal transfection results.
