Description

Mitochondria are the energy-producing structures in cells and the main place for cells to perform aerobic respiration. The main function of mitochondria is to produce ATP (adenosine triphosphate). Mitochondria are involved in the regulation of cell death pathways. The kit is a simple method based on fluorescence that can distinguish healthy cells from apoptotic cells. It uses MitoCapture, a cationic dye that shows different fluorescent red and green colors in healthy cells and apoptotic cells.
