Description

DAPI, also known as 4', 6-diamidino-2-phenylindole, is a blue fluorescent nucleic acid stain with little background from the cytoplasm. It can bind to minor groove of double stranded DNA with high selectivity. DAPI is cell permeable probe for DNA. DAPI staining can also be used as a sensitive and specific detection method for Mycoplasma.

This product is DAPI readymade solution with the concentration of 1 mg/mL. It can be diluted 1000 times with a desired buffer to prepare a working solution with the concentration of 1 μg/mL/
