Description

Ficoll PM 70 is a high molecular weight sucrose-polymerwith an average molecular weight of 70,000. It is formed by copolymerization of sucrose with epichlorohydrin. It is highly stable, minimal toxicity and has good solubility in aqueous media. Ficoll PM 70 can be used as perfusion media or as a macromolecular crowding agent to study cell volume signaling and protein refolding.

This product is supplied as a spry-dried powder and is readily soluble in aqueous media.
