Gelatin from Porcine Skin contains type A gelatin derived from porcine skin. Type A gelatin is derived from acid-cured tissue. Gelatin is a hydrocolloid and a heterogeneous mixture of water-soluble proteins, such as glycine, proline and hydroxyproline. Gelatin Solution can be used to coat cell culture plates and dishes for cell culture applications.
