Neutral Red Solution (0.33%) contains 3.3 g/ Neutral Red in DPBS. Neutral Red has several applications, including as a general staining dye in histology, for staining Golgi apparatus in cells and Nissl granules in neurons, as a vital dye to stain living cells, as a chloride salt added to cell culture media and as a pH indicator.
