Description

Resazurin Based In Vitro Toxicology Assay Kit is used to determine cell number or cell viability by spectrophotometric measuring metabolic activity of living cells. The dye is reduced to decrease the amount of its oxidized form (blue) and increase the fluorescent intermediate (red). Absorbance need be measured at a wavelength of 600 nm.
