Description

N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine is an antioxidant and mucolytic agent. It can increase cellular pools of free radical scavengers. It is reported that it can inhibit HIV replication. N-Acetyl-L-cysteine can be used as a supplement in expansion medium and in the culture medium of mouse intestinal stem cells.
