Description

Paromomycin Sulfate Salt, produced by Streptomyces rimosus var. paromomycinus, is a broad spectrum aminoglycoside antibiotic. Paromomycin Sulfate Salt, which has similar activity to Neomycin, can inhibit the initiation and elongation steps of protein synthesis. It is effective against Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria and some species of protozoan.
