Description

Polymyxin B Sulfate Salt, obtained from Bacillus polymyxa, is a member of the polymycin group of antibiotics. It can disrupt the cytoplasmic membrane of bacterial resulting in nucleotide leakage. The antimicrobial spectrum of Polymyxin B Sulfate Salt includes most Gram-negative bacteria, Gram-positive bacteria and fungi. It can be used for the treatment of Gram-negative bacterial infections.
