Description

GMEM (Glascow Minimum Essential Medium) was originally developed as a modification of Basal Medium Eagle (BME). It can be used with adherent kidney cell lines, such as baby hamster kidney (BHK) cells, or used in the study of genetic factors affecting cell competence.

Sodium Bicarbonate is used to provide buffer system and adjust pH level during cell culture.
