Description
Ham's Nutrient Mixtures were originally designed as a serum-free formula for the clonal growth of CHO cells. Now Mam's F-10 can also be supplemented with serum to support the proliferation of various cells, such as COS-7, primary rat astrocytes, and rat prostate epithelial cells.
HEPES can help maintain pH level during cell culture.
Sodium pyruvate plays a role of carbon substitute in culture medium and participates in cell nutrition metabolism.
