Description

Dulbecco's Modified Eagle's Medium (DMEM), a kind of medium containing various amino acids and glucose based on Basal Medium Eagle (BME) and Eagle's Minimum Essential Medium (MEM) medium, is the most broadly suitable medium for many types of cells. DMEM can be divided into high glucose type and low glucose type.
DMEM containing 1000mg/L of glucose is the original DMEM formula.
Sodium Bicarbonate is used to provide buffer system and adjust pH level during cell culture.
