Description

Calf Serum supplemented with ferric salt to boost available iron and transferrin can be used as an alternative to FBS in certain assays, such as CHO/HGPRT mutation assay.

Heat inactivation is accomplished by exposing the serum to a temperature of 56 ° C for 30 minutes under controlled conditions.
