Specificity

Detects alpha isoforms (3 Ig-like domains) and beta isoforms (2 Ig-like domains) of human FGFR2 in direct ELISAs and Western blots. In direct ELISAs, this antibody reacts with all isoforms of rhFGFR2 but shows approximately a 4-fold preference for (IIIc) isoforms. Approximately 100% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse FGFR2, 15% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) FGFRI (beta isoforms), and no cross-reactivity with rhFGFRI (alpha isoforms), rhFGF R3, or rhFGF R4 is observed.
