Specificity

Detects human FGF-17 in direct ELISAs and Western blots. In direct ELISA, approximately 7% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) FGF-5 is observed and no cross-reactivity with rhFGF-acidic, rhFGF-basic, rhFGF-4, rhFGF-6, rhFGF-7, rhFGF8b, rhFGF-9, rhFGF-10, rhFGF-17, rhFGF-18, rhFGF-19, recombinant mouse (rm) FGF-8b, rmFGF-8c and rmFGF-15 is observed.
