Description
Fixable Viability Dye Red 780 is a fluorescent cell viability dye used to discriminate viable from non-viable mammalian cells in flow cytometry applications. The dye binds intracellular and cell surface amine groups. Non-viable cells without of membrane integrity will be labeled with significantly more dye than healthy cells in the same sample. The degree of labeling will be preserved through fixation, permeabilization, and antibody incubation. The dye can be excited by the red laser at 633 nm and it has a fluorescence emission maximum of 780 nm.
