SM1 Without Vitamin A is a serum-free culture supplement without vitamin A. Vitamin A, also known as retinol, induces the differentiation of neural stem cells. In combination with a basal medium of choice, SM1 Without Vitamin A can be used for primary and pluripotent stem cell (PSC)-derived neural progenitor cell expansion and in customized differentiation protocols where vitamin A is not desired.
