Description

Potent histone deacetylase inhibitor. Trichostatin A induces accelerated dedifferentiation of primordial germ cells (PGCs) into embryonic germ (EG) cells. In an animal model of Huntington's disease, inhibition of HDAC by Trichostatin A rescues memory deficits and increases expression of CREB/CBP target genes in mutant mice.
