Description

Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) is an aminopolycarboxylic acid. It is a chelator of metal ions and can be used to remove calcium from cell washing and suspension media. EDTA can be used to reduce cell clumping and to prevent clotting of blood as an anticoagulant.
