Description

Trypsin is mixture of proteases with digestive ability derived from porcine pancreas. It is widely used in cell culture research and cell biology studies for cell dissociation during routine cell culture passaging and tissue dissociation. The concentration of trypsin used for the successful isolation of cells mainly depends on the cell type and culture time.

Trypsin 2.5% is a 10× concentrate of the most commonly used trypsin solution (0.25%). It must be diluted in an appropriate buffer before use.
