Description

Dulbecco's Phosphate-Buffered Saline (DPBS) contains sodium chloride, potassium chloride, monobasic potassium phosphate and dibasic sodium phosphate. It is a balanced salt solution used to maintain cells in a physiological pH range and provide salt ions for osmoregulation. DPBS can be used for a variety of cell culture applications, such as diluting, washing and transporting cells.

DPBS with calcium and magnesium is usually used in transporting cells or preparing reagents.
