Description

Penicillin-Streptomycin-Neomycin Antibiotic Mixture contains 5 mg of Penicillin, 5 mg of Streptomycin and 10 mg of Neomycin per ml.

Penicilin, derived from Penicillium fungi, can interfere with the bacterial cell-wall synthesis.

Streptomycin, produced by Streptomyces, can inhibit prokaryote protein synthesis by binding to the bacterial ribosome and inhibit complex of protein synthesis.

Neomycin can inhibit initiation and elongation during protein synthesis of bacteria.
