Description

Penicillin-Streptomycin-Glutamine (100×) contains 10,000 units of Penicillin, 10,000 μg of Streptomycin and 29.2 mg/mL of L-glutamine in a 10 mM citrate buffer.

Penicilin, derived from Penicillium fungi, can interfere with the bacterial cell-wall synthesis.

Streptomycin, produced by Streptomyces, can inhibit prokaryote protein synthesis by binding to the bacterial ribosome and inhibit complex of protein synthesis.
