Description
MEM, is a kind of widely used cell culture media and has been used for cultivation of a wide variety of cells. The formulation can be further modified for some particular applications. Earle's Balanced Salts are supplemented for short-term use in a CO2 environment.
HEPES can help maintain pH level during cell culture.
L-Glutamine is an essential amino acid for cell growth, which can be used as the energy source of cultured cells and participate in protein synthesis and nucleic acid metabolism. Stable Glutamine with longer half-life in solution is an alternative to L-Glutamine.
