N-2 Supplement (100×)

N-2 Supplement is a serum-free supplement which is chemically-defined based on the formulation of Bottenstein's N-1. It is used as a medium supplement for the primary culture of neuroblastomas and post-mitotic neurons from both the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system to supply the required components in a complete culture environment. It can be used together with some growth factors, such as epidermal growth factor (EGF) and basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF).

This product is supplied as a concentrated solution and needs to be diluted 100 times to obtain the correct amount of supplement.
