Description
DES (1-6) IGF II containing 61 amino acids is an analog of human insulin-like growth factor II. It lacks the first six N-terminal amino acids. IGF binding proteins (IGFBPs) can inhibit the actions of IGF's, while DES (1-6) IGF II exhibits reduced affinity for IGFBPs. DES (1-6) IGF-II can be used in cell culture applications.
This product is lyophilized from a solution in 0.1 M Acetic Acid.
