Description
Fibroblast growth factor 5 (FGF-5) is a 29.1 kDa protein containing 268 amino acid. It is encoded by the FGF5 gene in human and is a member of the fibroblast growth factor family. FGF-5 can regulate hair growth cycle. It can also act as a muscle-derived trophic factor for motor neurons and has neurotrophic activity.
This product is lyophilized from a 0.22 μm filtered solution in 10 mM MOPS, 50 mM NaSO4, 0.5 mM EDTA, 0.5 mM DTT and 5% Trehalose, and 50 μg of BSA per 1 μg cytokine.
