Description
Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) is a potent Growth Factor and a cytoprotective peptide, which can stimulate the proliferation of various epithelial and epidermal cells. It is also involved in would healing, the control of cell differentiation and neutrophic processes, and the inhibition of gastric secretion. EGF from Rat is a 6.2 kDa globular protein containing 54 amino acid residues.
This product is lyophilized from a solution with no additives. It should be reconstitutedd in water to a concentration of 0.5-1.0 mg/mL, and can be further diluted in buffer containing a carrier protein, such as 0.1% BSA.
