Description

Trypsin inhibitor from Glycine Max is a monomeric protein used to inhibit trypsin and some other proteases with mechanisms similar to trypsin. It can form a 1:1 stoichiometric complex with the protease active site and cleave a single arginine-isoleucine bond on the inhibitor. This effect is reversible and pH dependent. Trypsin inhibitor from Glycine Max has also been used in protein expression and purification.
